Keyword: Healthy Hedonism. You ask: Healthy what? Okay, in other words: Healthy nutrition combined with more enjoyment and joy. For many people, healthy eating is a real challenge, including abstention and restrictions. This will finally come to an end in 2019: there will be an awareness to listen more to one’s own body and its needs again – but also to those of the environment. 1. super-sugar: sweetness from the monk’s fruit

A healthy sugar substitute can be produced from the monk fruit, also called Luo Han Guo, which originates from China. The fruit is 300 times sweeter than commercial sugar, but at the same time has no calories. Unlike sugar, it does not cause insulin secretion, making it ideal for diabetics.

It is also a real vitamin bomb, rich in calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and vitamins C, B1, B2 and E.

CBD -oil has analgesic, anxiolytic and anti-inflammatory effects. Its positive properties make it a real trend that is unlikely to fade away so quickly.

Our recipe for 3 portions of avocado ice cream:

  • 400 ml chilled coconut milk
  • 1 1/2 avocados
  • 4 EL Agave syrup
  • Juice of 1 lime

Preparation:

  1. Beat the solid part of the chilled coconut milk in a mixer until creamy. You can keep the liquid coconut milk for other dishes.
  2. Add the avocado pulp, lime juice and agave syrup and mix well.
  3. Pour the ice cream mixture into popsicle moulds or a suitable plastic bowl and freeze in the freezer for about 5 hours.

From now on, baking will be done with gluten-free flours, for example from sweet potatoes.

The special flours not only score points with a high proportion of protein and fibre, they also contain few carbohydrates and are gluten-free. Simple cereal flour can be easily replaced by the healthy alternatives. The range of wheat-free flours will grow significantly in 2019.
